It's so unfair
I've been kicked out of The Graduates because I haven't been spending enough time doing BRUCE activities.
I was kicked out of Interstellar Starbase Syndicate for the same reason.
I enjoy ratting, trading, and making ISK in 0.0 but it's finding time for corp activities that's more difficult.
CEOs seem to think I'm up to something dodgy.
Has anyone else had the same experience?
Is there a 0.0 corp that would welcome someone like me?

Originally by: Darius Shakor Every corp and alliance has the right to dictate what they want form their members. If you join an alliance with an agenda you would be expected to contribute to that agenda first before your own desired activities.
You should seek a corp or alliance that has an agenda that matches the way you want to play the game. Or one with no agenda and just a loose assembly of people to make friends with.
Actually, I agree with you.
I wonder if there is a corp that would welcome 'civillians' of 0.0, like me?

You're going to get a helluva shock when you're old enough to get a job.

There be your problem. You're a complete and utter carebear (not said in a derogatory manner, seriously). If that's all you enjoy doing then do it in empire via missions, market. 0.0, particularly in alliances like BRUCE and ISS, is more about the corp and alliance and shooting crap.
Also - you really don't sound like a team-player kind of guy, and for someone who's been very vocal on the forums about alot of alliance related stuff, you've now shown yourself to be someone who should now be ignored. You obviously never got around to that 'PVP' thing.
I would PVP - but I've never disliked anyone enough to go to war with them (yet).

What you are asking is similar to asking if there is a country in the world that would welcome you as a citizen, without requiring you to pay taxes and/or obey the law.
So, generally, no.
I am willing to pay taxes.

I have posted an advertisement in the recruitment forum.
I'm looking for a carebearing corp in 0.0 and I'm willing to pay taxes.

Funnily enough, I did ask them!

I can look back now and laugh. But at the time it was just shear blind terror and panick.
However, T2 polycarbs on a Cheetah work like a charm for getting round bubble camps. The mistake I made was not cloaking while travelling through low sec. Now I cloak everywhere- even in high sec.

I have no problem with that but you shouldn't come and whine on the forum when a corp/alliance kicks you out for not pulling your own wheight.
There are plenty of corps that don't ask for anything from you (ours is one, funnily enough, apart from the taxes). I only took issue with your 'it's unfair' line.
Once upon a time, The Graduates was all about finding your feet in 0.0. Everyone regarded TGRAD as the 0.0 branch of Eve University.
These days, TGRAD is all about war - not just fending off pirates. TGRAD isn't neutral anymore. It's certainly sided against BoB, for example.

Well, I am willing to pay taxes.
I suppose the higher the tax, the less of a parasite I would be.
In real life, taxes are about 40% to 65% (depending on which country). In Eve, corp taxes are roughly 5% to 10%.
Perhaps the best situation for me would be a PvP alliance that has a carebearing corp with a higher tax rate

Yes, I think so. This would be a solution.
The better others are at securing my part of space, the more taxes they would be able to gather.

Originally by: SirxAmoc So let me see if I am understanding your position. You would like to stay out in 0.0 and make ISK and you would be willing to to pay the corp that you are in a tax amount for that. But as I am understainding it you do not want to PVP. So basically what you are really saying is that you are very comfortable to allow others to RISK their ships and lose their ISK and all you want to do fo r their ability to defend the space you are taking advantage of is pay a corp tax for htat privelage? Is that about right? How elitist of you! I would black ball you too. Why dont you just join a nice PVE corp and run level 4 missions. That is the the niche you seem best suited for.
I think of it as teamwork. I make the ISK, others bring the brawn.

I feel sadness at having to leave TGRAD. At the beginning, I believed in the BRUCE/TGRAD philosophy: "friendly to any but pirates."
However, when BRUCE moved from Syndicate to Fountain things changed. They were no longer friendly to any. For example, I am certainly not a pirate.
